April 19, 2010, 03:40 AM Poor circulation could be crucial factor in hair loss, and im not takling about increased dht level that makes you hairy mega-male. I have a smooth skin and my amount of hair on the face and on the chest is just like in a 16 years old youngster(and im 26)... so dht inhibinting wont help me.(i’ve been on finpecia for somtime)

[ # 1 ] April 20, 2010, 10:44 AM Are you sure a higher level of DHT is related to having more bodily hair? I am the same way…not much bodily hair or facial hair but dht blockers stop inflamation in its tracks for me. Combined with lasers of course. |

[ # 2 ] April 20, 2010, 06:33 PM well, im not sure in 100% but i know that circulation is my achilles heel. 3 years ago i went to an hair doctor he said that he cant recognize excessive sebum on the scalp , that typical for dht inflamation. this one is very interesting - 3) Hypnosis - After treatment with hypnosis, all patients had a significantly lower score for anxiety and depression. Hair regrowth of 75% to 100% was seen in 12 people after 3 to 8 sessions of hypnotherapy. Total regrowth occurred in 9 of these 12 people. In 5 people, a significant relapse occurred. There were major limitations to this study, however, including the small size of the study, the lack of a placebo group, and the fact that the study was not double-blind. Larger, well-designed studies are needed. |

[ # 3 ] April 20, 2010, 10:45 PM I know I have bad circulation as well. During the winter I always get cold feet. Have been stretching lately and it has helped alot. I also noticed somewhat thinner hair down low. Well not thinner just more patchy if that makes sense. Liek some hairs just decided to stop growing I dunno. Kinda interesting. |

[ # 5 ] April 25, 2010, 03:57 PM Ecklonia Cava is phenomenal for increasing bloodflow as well, one of the ingredients that will be in our “Antioxidant Boost” formula in a therapeutic amount. Seems like you’re doing the right things otherwise though, try to stick with it. Lots of water as well, preferably filtered! |

[ # 7 ] April 25, 2010, 11:44 PM Nanas, Nid can clear this one up better, but I think it has the antioxidants in Immortal Hair’s hairloss regimen: http://www.immortalhair.org/mycurrentregimen.htm Like: Ecklonia Cava R-Lipoic Acid |

[ # 8 ] April 26, 2010, 12:56 AM nanas— Any supplement that has “everything in it” isn’t worth the trouble to take. It’s not about how much is in a supplement, it’s about: - What quality of herb (pharmaceutical-grade preferable) - How much of each ingredient (therapeutic quality desirable for results) - What TYPE of herbs included and why - The Delivery method (increased bioavailability) The formula that I’m working on will be a naturally grape-flavored liquid-based formula that is taken in the morning and night (breakfast and dinner), and increases the bioavailability of the ingredients about 2-3x and also knocks down three birds with one stone— - Resveratrol DM5— The Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid will be packaged up with a gram of Acetyl-L Carnitine, and Neptune Krill Oil & Biotin in little baggies. It is the most expensive project, so may have to be held off for a bit. Stabilized RALA doesn’t work well when mixed with other actives, unfortunately. |

[ # 10 ] April 26, 2010, 11:38 AM Hey xyion1— Gotta get the investment funds in order, we’re too short on money to start this all up on our own, so I’ll be meeting with someone on Friday. I personally can’t wait to take them myself! heh. |

[ # 11 ] May 08, 2010, 03:17 PM Nanas, As most of you know, the lack of blood flow and tightening of fibrosis hinders hair growth. The most effective way to achieve increased circulation and break down fibrosis is to do a scalp peel and scrub, then replace what the scalp needs to recover health and hygiene. Years ago on the regorwth forum, several of the members asked me to assemble a kit. I designed SCALP SYSTEMS BASIC as an in home scalp treatment for problematic scalp conditions. The natural by product of the concept was stronger, healthier hair in vellous follicles and multiple strands in follicles already producing hair. It’s a simple process. Remove what shouldn’t be there with what is supposed to be. Another benefit, SCALP SYSTEMS BASIC enhances the absorption rate and effectiveness of hair therapy programs that incorportate FDA approved hair regrowth agents. |

Will the liquid formula stain yellow because of the curcumin? If not I’d be interested in using it topically. |

[ # 17 ] July 11, 2010, 08:15 PM These are great questions. I have found a good resource for information on hair loss causes and also what we can do about it including if hair brushing make a difference in improving circulation. I hope this helps! |
