May 01, 2010, 03:37 PM Hey, guys! I thought I’d post this:
This shot is going to be in an upcoming video, but I know Robster was inquiring about a device that treats the SIDES of the hair, and I think this style could easily be modified to do that. As I said to him in an email, before you judge my appearance, I want YOU to try to look natural in that circumstance! lol… Going back to speaking about this device as a transplant scar device, though, this is the device that DM5 is using, and it’s very similar to the one I used -which caused radically increased scar healing. I think it was by month four or five, my wife couldn’t find the scar on the back of my head anymore. I’m sure if I shaved it, you might be able to tell (but I’m not doing that, not even for SCIENCE! lol…). So, that’s the device -yes, I think it could easily be modified so diffuse thinners could target the sides of their head better. Also, I think that continuing to use that device long after the scar has healed would still be helpful to fighting hair loss due to my “regional benefits” theory. I always felt like I was having better results all over when I was using it (I’ve stopped since this year because my device wasn’t made very well -unlike this one- and it was falling apart. I’ll remake one just like this, though, and probably continue to use it). It has I think 122 diodes if I remember correctly, and it’s simply amazing for healing the scar area. -O.M.G. PS- The back of my hair is long enough that it’s being “pressed down” under the device in that picture. If this wasn’t a photo op, I would have “nestled” the device deeper into the hair, and my hair would probably be mostly covering it. ...And yes, you can see the scar on the back of my head from when I slid down the steps on my stomach on a cardboard box, shot across the floor, and bashed my head against the bottom of some furniture! Don’t you miss being a kid?! |
