1885 FUTs: Money Well Spent

January 18, 2010, 12:44 AM By all means pop this thread if inappropriate here. I, now, have happy eyes. My 1885 FUTs (follicular unit transplants), since day one to now three months later, have proven almost godsend in, if nothing, my attitude toward life. The cost is hard to justify, or so it seems. I marvel that celebrities and politicians don’t sink time, effort, and that equalizer money into their hair. I was not wealthy and needed financing to have HRT but I sure feel wealthy now. “Bring it, World.” I ‘Bosleyed.’ A resident of the Colorado Springs area, I initially traveled to Denver for my first encounter with Bosley; silly me, I would need to fly to Phoenix to get the actual treatment. But a next week recent cancellation, some bucks off if I took that slot, worked well in my favor. Flying out the night before, staying at a ‘resort’ (this is Scottsdale, folks) literally across the street from Bosley, having the treatment, then flying back that very same day happened so fast I can’t believe I went through with it let alone now have my first sproutings in said FUTted area to show for all of this money I forked out. Combine HRT with, say, Propecia, slap on a Laser Messiah, improve your diet, combined that approach with perusing this forum’s cutting edge and comprehensive materials on hair loss and, hey, life is even better. I promise I’ll slow down now and stop posting for awhile, I promise. Ciao, Dennis “theOZer” Osborne |

Haha, no need to slow down, it’s great to see the forum coming alive with great people only a few days into the site’s birth! A good hair transplant can completely change our image of how we perceive ourselves, and I whole-heartedly endorse them for those that have the money to invest. Proof positive is how much it’s changed your own image of yourself and outlook on life. Have you been taking pictures of your progress since the transfer? It’d be interesting to document the growth in the coming months!! |

[ # 2 ] January 18, 2010, 07:00 AM The site technically isn’t even BORN YET until we get three articles, three featured contributor pieces written, three product reviews up, remove every bit of the latin text, get some content on all those “coming soon” pages, and lastly… set up the extremely complex search solution that I bought! lol… We’re waiting to tell people until then -especially the researchers. So, these are the “pre-birth” days! Hey, I wanted to drag my feet a little and wait to “turn it on” until it was complete, but all you guys are dragging me accross the finish line! But man… I couldn’t agree more. A hair transplant is absolutely the best thing most of us could do, and for some reason people have pegged it as a “last resort” or something to do when everything else has failed. The fact is with most of us that are looking at a hair loss site, just the fact that we are on the site means that we’ve already gotten far enough along in our hair loss that no treatment is going to satisfy us. It will take a hair transplant to get back to where you want to be. I’m going to do A LOT on this subject for the site. As you see by my hair on my site announcement (http://www.worldhairloss.org/index.php/hairloss/page2-announcements/the_site_is_almost_ready)... that can’t be done with a treatment alone! lol… It also can’t be done with a TRANSPLANT ALONE either, though. After the one I had in 2002, my hair certainly didn’t look like that -even though I had vastly more hair at the time! It was flat, dead, and lifeless. It took LLLT to take it up to that level. Good lord, it’s voluminous!!! So anyway, I think that transplant doctors everywhere should rejoice at this site because it’s going to attempt to dispel the erroneous notion that a hair transplant should be thought of as a last resort. -O.M.G. |
