[ # 1 ] June 17, 2010, 12:14 PM Hey, Fullyloaded! I think you should definitely add either clay or the polysorbate 80/ethyl alcohol mix before showers on your laser days -at least to TRY. By the way, we need to come up with a name for the polysorbate 80 mix. It’s a pain to write that out! I guess “poly 80” covers it. Anyway, the reason I say that is because lots of people have noticed astounding differences in the amount of stimulation they feel. I noticed that when I switched to clay, but like JDP, we both over did it and made our scalp chronically dry -so don’t do that, and either use a store bought brand or be sure to add oils to the mix! I’ve been using LLLT for two and a half years now. Just to do a quick guess, I’ve used my helmet probably almost 400 times during that period! [Wow!] That’s just multiplying the total weeks by three. Well, I think the times that I HAVEN’T used the poly 80 mix or the clay before the session are no more than 20. ...And the times I haven’t, I notice less stimulation, too. So, yeah, I started out the gate with a pre-shower topical (I’d been using the poly 80 for about a six months before that I think -RosarioRose9 turned me on to it). So, I think everyone should at least try it once to see if they notice a difference. I think that “theoretically”, though, everyone should be using if for the added sebum/oil removing benefit. Just be careful about overdoing it! CHRONICALLY DRY SCALP CONDITIONS WILL NOT ALLOW LLLT RESULTS! lol… That’s the whole premise of this thread here: “I cannot use lasers anymore..” ...And let me tell you, most people hear a title like that and they drop their spoon into their bowl of cereal. -O.M.G. |

[ # 3 ] June 17, 2010, 01:53 PM Fiddy/fiddy! I have no scientific basis for this… I just mixed it in equal parts and it works fine! -O.M.G. |
