Some good natural tips

June 19, 2010, 07:53 AM I have read some natural hair loss treatments over the years but as usual, I never stuck to any which doesn’t give time for results to occur as it could take a long time. BUT after trying Minox, fin and having a hair transplant 3 years ago I am convinced some of these things will help stop , if not grow hair: Clay: I read a book by Riquette Hofstein years ago that used Fullers earth as a clay with essential oils once a week. At the moment I am using clay taken from a Greek island while on holiday 12 years ago. I am using it with Emu oil and organic Apple cider vinegar. Salt or pepper: Riquette also made something called a “slougher coctail” which consisted of Alker seltzer, vodka and cayenne pepper to desolve the oils and other dirt in the scalp. I have an ocean salt and lime natural scrub from a company called “Lush” in the UK. I use this on the scalp gently and leave it on a while. Laser: I am about to make my own device so the jury is out. Hair muck: Just orderd some to go in my Minoxidil. Massage: Emerge top of head in bowl of cold water twice a day for 30 sec to a minute. As cold as possible. Then towel dry and massage. You will notice a warm rush in the scalp as blood is circulating. The cold helps get the blood flowing. I would then use topicals after this. In the evenings I use a small hand held electric ball massager on the scalp as I am watching TV. Again, this makes the scalp feel relaxed. Inversion: Simply lying on the edge of a bed or whatever you can do, have your head at the lowest point for a minuite or so. This gets blood flow to the scalp. There is more science to this in a book to do with getting DHT out of the blood vessels but this is the gist. Diet and vitamins : Hair, skin and nails, Saw palmetto I take at the moment. I am also growing my own organic salad and veg. Exercise: Goes without saying. Sunlight: Getting out in the sun more is what I am trying to do as advised by Joe the Zix creator here. Neck exercises: Simply turn the head slowly and fully from side to side, up and down and left and right (as if touching each ear on the shoulder) in the morning and evening. You may hear a clicking or crackling sound. This is good and releases stale blood and toxins from the head that have collected during sleep and bad posture. Again, I read this in a hair loss book written by a neuropath. I always feel it wakes me up and I feel much better. Of course you may not be bothered to do all this but I am going to try my best to stick with it. |
