June 22, 2010, 11:18 PM Hey all, just wanted to say that I got my OMG-built laser helmet today in the mail, and had my first laser session tonight (20 minutes). Afterwards, my scalp felt like it was slightly buzzing and tingly; anyway, I had no pain or discomfort. I’m so glad to have finally started; I’m excited to start seeing some results in a few months! Thanks OMG! You rule! (Also, your new avatar is kickass.) |

[ # 3 ] June 23, 2010, 10:58 PM I second OMG about the experience. That’s Laser Blood Irradiation you can feel. That SOD(antioxidant) stimulation and resulting high-energy feeling of increased health is something I look forward to everytime. |

[ # 6 ] June 24, 2010, 09:27 PM Joey - I got the 300-diode helmet. I’m liking it so far. It’s only the second session and it is already feeling more comfortable wearing it.

[ # 8 ] July 17, 2010, 04:55 AM Strange that you mention that. I had that problem last week. I had like 4 of them in a couple of days. I used some Garnier facial scrub and they cleared up in a couple days….no idea what caused it though. OMG or anyone else have any ideas??? |

[ # 9 ] July 17, 2010, 07:50 AM I also got those when I first started….at the time I remember someone on the boards saying that the red pimples are a good indicator of progress. But i don’t get them anymore so I’m not sure if it’s actually an indicator of progress or just an initial reaction that the scalp has to lasers. |

[ # 11 ] July 18, 2010, 03:42 PM stalled for the moment…I’ve kicked up the laser sessions to 4 times a week and added folligen…I’ll post pics again in two months, that’ll be 3 months on the new regimen. But even keeping what you have should be considered a win, so I’m at least thankful for that. |

[ # 12 ] July 18, 2010, 04:09 PM Sounds good. I don’t know anything about Folligen. What is it, and what it is supposed to do? |

[ # 13 ] July 18, 2010, 05:56 PM Folligen is a copper peptide solution created by the inventor of tricomin…he left the tricomin company in the 1990s. He then created the folligen formula which has 31 times more copper peptides than tricomin. (tricomin actually dyes their solution blue, while folligen has such a high copper peptide percentage that it looks like blue ink) a quick google search found that copper peptide treatments * increased follicle size which to me sounds a lot like what LLLT can do..so i think they may work well together…some say folligen works great when used in combination with minox, but I don’t like minox. I will say that it can make your scalp itchy sometimes, especially at first, but that goes away over time. You should do some research of your own on it. |

[ # 14 ] July 18, 2010, 07:02 PM Cool. I was just looking @ their site. It’d be interesting to see if it would work well in conjunction with LLLT. Do you use the cream, spray, or combo? |

[ # 17 ] July 24, 2010, 07:14 AM Do you think night topicals should be used straight after taking the helmet off or left for a while for whatever reason, give the head time to breathe or something? |

[ # 18 ] July 28, 2010, 01:48 PM I just wanted to give a quick update. I’m in my 6th week of treatment with my LaserMessiah, and I’ve started to notice a little more shedding than normal over the last week or so. I’ve heard that shedding around this point is normal for LLLT, so I’m trying my best to keep positive! I’m also trying to NOT look at the thin spot on my head in the mirror daily, but it’s hard. I know that results will show up over the course of a few months, and I should be patient, but it’s a hard habit to break! I’ve been looking into possibly adding Folligen and Zix to my regimen pretty soon, too. That’s all for now. |
