June 26, 2010, 05:57 AM Hi all, read recently in a post that people have had success in making their head of hair appear fuller by using hair dye. Was reading that there are safer dyes to use than the ammonia based ones - can anyone recommend any decent ones? |

[ # 5 ] July 18, 2010, 06:13 PM I used a regular organic shampoo (lavender or tea tree oil, no sulfates et al) and added about an inch of emu oil to the bottle - shook it up and got underway and had a great summer in London in 2007. Most of my gray hairs went back to dark brown… (although to be fair I did not have hundreds of gray ones, but still I was starting to go gray and this appeared to stop it enough that I no longer even worry about it… - which is great…) |

[ # 6 ] July 18, 2010, 10:33 PM a completely natural hair dye that i used to color the very light little hairs was Rainbow Henna. the ingredients are: black henna, indigofereoe and lawsoniainermis. thats for the black, they have other colors and i would imagine the ingredients would vary slightly. |

[ # 8 ] July 19, 2010, 04:24 PM For what it’s worth…. years ago when my beard started to gray I noticed almost an immediate effect from aerobic exercise. Beard hair grows quickly and I could always tell by looking in the mirror how much jogging I had done in the last week or so. If I was running consistently…....there was hardly any gray. When I would stop running for awhile there would be more gray. Now at age 50 it doesn’t matter how much running I do. I still have gray hair! LOL! Growing old sucks. |

[ # 10 ] July 20, 2010, 02:41 AM Zix— Fascinating observations man!! It could be that grey hairs are the result of less and less bloodflow to the root, and when you consistently exercise, the result is better bloodflow thus resulting in less graying. This goes hand-in-hand with anectodal reports of grey hairs being reversed by lasering as well which may also be the result of the increased bloodflow induced by laser helmet usage! halfempty— I’m going to wait until I make my first video to unveil the new look. |
