June 28, 2010, 12:48 PM Noticed these on the overmachogrande website and am curious if you’re still using it. I do hate getting haircuts, been putting off this one off for about a month and a half now, it would be awesome to be able to do a reasonable job myself. How did it work out for you and has anyone else tried them? I’d always thought they were a ridiculous invention made up to be completely hilarious in wayne’s world - makes me want to watch it again now. |

[ # 1 ] June 28, 2010, 01:58 PM As you can see, it sucks as it cuts. Man, I got that movie on VHS for my fifth birthday, what a childhood. Anyway, I too have a Flowbee, and it does work really well for most hair cuts. I use a 2.5 inch attachment on the top and sides, then taper it down in the back to maybe half an inch. It is louder than a semi truck downshifting on the highway, but it is easy as hell to use, and makes for a really professional looking cut. The only thing I had to learn the hard way was to not go from a 2 inch attachment to a 1 inch without using the taper attachment, cause it did not blend at all. Throwing the taper on makes sure there isn’t a real noticeable line where the two lengths meet. If you hate going to the barber, and sport a simple to moderate cut, then it’s right up your alley. |

[ # 2 ] June 28, 2010, 06:36 PM I’m already working on the video for it!!! Look for it sometime next week! I’m going to go through how to logically look at your head and do a walk-through on a styrofoam head, then I’m going to cover how you can use it to cut longer, trendier styles, and then I’m going to do a demo on myself! I truly believe that this is something that EVERYONE LOSING THEIR HAIR SHOULD OWN. -O.M.G |

[ # 4 ] July 01, 2010, 07:38 PM Just go to a Dominican barber in your neighborhood. They’re craftsmen honestly. |
