[ # 1 ] July 06, 2010, 10:20 PM OUTSIDE! ...and yeah, I’m working on that problem! Shipping can be tough on them sometimes -even as well as I try to pack them! although just getting them close will be good enough, though. It’s all about long-term averages, and it’ll eventually even out. Don’t forget to ENJOY THE TREATMENT! Oh, and use it after a shower (in which you’ve really scrubbed your head with your nails and used a good non-sls shampoo if you’ve got one), towel dry your hair, and use it for 20 minutes/three times a week! -O.M.G. |

[ # 2 ] July 06, 2010, 10:32 PM I’ll be lasering post clay and shower and was thinking I’d start with less time because I’m pale like a ghost. 15 mins, 3 x a week then movin on up from there if skies are blue and the weather is fine. I’ve read a few people’s posts saying they found their optimal times were 12-15 minutes or they’d come out feeling burnt. Dudes did seem generally negative though. Do you think it’s worth starting with lower times for fairer skin types? |

[ # 3 ] July 06, 2010, 10:38 PM TWENTY MINUTES! Yeah, don’t listen to those guys -the reason they feel a burning sensation is because they’ve either got JACKED diodes that are giving off a lot of heat or they have a case like chronic dry skin that causes a buildup like I spell out here: http://www.worldhairloss.org/index.php/forums/viewthread/181/#1732 No matter what their reasons, they are a tiny, tiny percentage of the lasering population -so, TWENTY MINUTES! I’m pale as a ghost, too… that’s the timeframe that does the magic! -O.M.G. |

[ # 6 ] July 07, 2010, 05:46 PM Joey, I’m starting my third week with my laser helmet, @ 20 minute session 3x a week, and have had no burning or uncomfortable sensations, and I’m very fair-skinned, so I imagine you’ll probably be fine with 20 minutes as well. Also, I’m sure that John McClane would’ve benefited from a Laser Messiah had they existed back in the late 80’s. Yippee-ki-yay. |

[ # 8 ] July 07, 2010, 10:42 PM I would strongly recommend boar bristle brushing your scalp good prior to showering. This loosens up all of the dead skin that’ll get in the way of the laser penetration. Still use your nails on your scalp in the shower, but this is very thorough! |
