[ # 4 ] July 17, 2010, 10:54 PM FullyLoaded… Aside from the apparent regrowth, how is the overall appearance of your hair? Is your hair growing faster, stronger? Also, are you making your own super zix? Have you noticed decreased fallout? |

[ # 7 ] July 19, 2010, 03:58 PM Awesome to hear it fullyloaded! I’ve been using “minomuck” for about 8 months now and it seems to have helped. I don’t like using minox, but it eases my mind and at this point I’m too scared of losing what I’ve regrown to stop. Zix Creator - I’ve noticed that the hair muck starts forming residue on the inside of the minox bottle I use and if I use the same dropper for the 2nd bottle it gets worse. Do you know of any way to prevent this and could it be detrimental? Also what kind of shedding problem do you think I would see if I made the switch from minomuck to zix? Have you read from anyone who has tried this any positive/negative results? |

[ # 8 ] July 19, 2010, 04:55 PM Hi Yanks. The residue is due to some of the beta sitosterol precipitating out of the solution. This has nothing to do with how well the formula works. To make a formula where this doesn’t occur would mean extra expense, emulsifiers and possibly an additional unnatural chemical. This wouldn’t help it work any better…it would just make it look prettier. Go off the minoxidil and start Super Zix II? It is hard for me to advise you on this. But I am a firm believer in the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” theory. You stated things have improved somewhat. This is a bigger victory than many people realize. It is damn hard to regrow hair. Just maintaining what you have is an accomplishment. A compromise would be to apply the minox/muck after showering and then roughly 12 hours later apply the Super Zix II. Then 12 hours after that shampoo your hair and follow the same routine. The key is to never put the minox on a scalp that has any zinc residue. It is the zinc residue that ruins the minox….not the other way around. Hope this helps. |
