Hi,
The forum looks like it has a feed - in firefox the URL bar has the RSS icon. Problem is that the feed is messed up and I cannot add it to google reader. Anyone else experience this too? Or maybe there is a better feed link?
I would like to have the forum feed in my google reader - much easier to see when stuff has been updated than visiting here each time.

Ok, thanks for letting me know about that!  It’s no longer on any page.  It was set to go to feeds that didn’t really exist, so it was making up content to fill it or something.

I’ll definitely end up putting it back.  When I first built this site, I wanted to set the core structure up first and then go back and do some of the little details like that -but I’ve definitely taken a lot longer than I thought in getting to the other things I want to fix.

So, thank you for motivating me to get off my ass and start fixing the site so it’s completely finished!  I’m ready for it to be, that’s for sure.

What I’m doing over the next few days, by the way, is that I’m going to eliminate the “Veterans Blog” and “User Submitted Links” section and combine them into a really loose “In Other News” section that encompasses a huge range of topics.  Also, the “Announcements” section is going to be structured in a way that makes it much more flexible, and it’ll be used much more.

After that, we’ll have the site store running, and I need to get on the people working on the “product review” and “featured contributor” articles to get the damn LATIN off the page!

I’ll work on the “contact us” page, the newsletter, and the search engine for the site as well -and then it will be open, and we will FINALLY be ready for the official opening!

...Then it will be “video city”, and as you know, Immortal Hair and I are planning a video podcast “show” that should be pretty fun.  We both have a lot to say, that’s for sure!

I’ll be sure to properly create and add the RSS feeds to the site when it’s all finished.  There are a few little formatting glitches (like the “preview” funtion) that I need to take care of as well.

Oh, yeah… and then I need to get the freaking WIKI taken care of.  That’s going to be the best damn thing about this site.  I’ve got to make it so the most recently edited pages will appear on the sidebars, and I’ve got to start putting links to all the good threads so we never have to have the same conversation twice anymore!
