Hi all, seems the best option is a hair transplant, although seeing some real bad surgeons work has got me scared - can anyone suggest/recommend a decent place/surgeon in the united kingdom?  Im aiming to get it done at the end of the year, then get the laser helmet and follow the regimen.

There all butchers mate seer clear.Antonio Armarni does London and Manchester but he’s well pricey and he packs the hair too denselyy.Yeah it’ll look ok for a while but…..
I’d go to the States or maybe the far east. The guy in India does good work and is cheap.
The other forums are best for transplant testimonials.
A few on here can give there own though, hopefully 1 will reply.

For the life of me I cant remember there names.I’d just google it.They have all kinds of testimonials from guys giving there pros and cons.Definatley worth the time in research.
OMG will prob reply on here soon for you.
The whole hair line thing and further recession is a worry if I got it done.My 500 diode helmet aint stopped any more loss which is such a shame.I do zix and the top 6 to.Think I’m fucked basically.
If I do get a transplant I’ll opt for full coverage but just loose the density and keep it like a crew cut 1 or 2 all over.As long as the hairline is noticeable it makes you look better.
I know a guy whos hair is like this naturally and with a tan he looks great.

Man, im sorry to hear the helmet hasnt worked so far for you, how long have you been using it?  That is another piece of sound advice about full coverage transplant, iv got a patch at the crown, but it is progressing down towards the forehead, what is your top six you use? iv got emu oil and a dermaroller and take saw palmetto,

definitely agree about the tan - its essential if your balding.  Im sick of it and iv decided the only option is the HT.  Cheers again for the advice man.

Does anyone have an opinion on his work?  I spoke to him yesterday, but his company do not offer payment options - its gotta be the full amount up front…

He doesnt give any post op pics at 6 month and beyond which is a worry.
The Top six is as IH presently describes and Ive been on that as long as the 500 diode helmet, over a year now, prob 15 months.
I apply a little emu oil to damp hair to style it in the morning and rub it in well since a post on here said it reversed greying for him although he added it to hos shampoo.
I just use a seabuckthorn soap bar from aubrey organics to wash my hair (as Nidhogge did/does).Works well IMO.
