Fully loaded what is your regimen at the moment? Perhaps you’ve stated it before but I’ve probably forgotten it.

Hi fullyloaded

I’ve been wondering the same thing about epilobium myself. Haven’t really seen any negative reviews, but I haven’t heard too many experiences either. Here is the link from the forum http://www.worldhairloss.org/index.php/forums/viewthread/130/

Hi Bear101.

As far as I know it is basically a relatively untested substance among hair loss sufferers. That does not mean it wouldn’t work. I certainly wouldn’t discourage people from trying it so that we could get some sort of idea as to how effective it may be. Supposedly it does not raise estrogen levels they way other DHT reducing agents tend to do.

All that said….personally I don’t believe estrogen levels are raised enough anyway to be causing people side effects…..although I’m sure there are others on this board that would disagree with me. I also believe increasing estrogen is a weak positive for your hair…..though I’m certainly not advocating going this route. Again others would disagree with me on this as well.

I believe it is irrelevant what substance you use to directly reduce DHT in the body. I believe it is the the fact that DHT is reduced is the very reason for side effects. What substance you use to reduce DHT is irrelevant.

Again just my humble opinion and I’m sure others on this board would disagree with me.

fullyloaded…..it looks like a pretty good regimen you are on. Perhaps your just experiencing a “good shed”. Or perhaps the Nizoral is “frying” your scalp and hair. Although I love the substance ketoconazole…I am not in love with the other things in Nizoral which tend to be very harsh if used too often. Myself I can use the 1% stuff every single day without a problem however everyone is different. There are keto shampoos which do not contain all those harsh substances. Perhaps they would be worth looking into.
