Hi,
I am planning to take a month long trip to India that i usually do every other yr and am trying to figure out how to get the helmet past 4 airports in the 24 hr journey back home. the security check folks will probably have a heart attack when they see all those cables and wiring. so i am contemplating checking it in.
I also have a 3 yr old to deal with through the process so checking in might make things easier perhaps.
has anyone travelled with the helmet internationally?
i’d like any advice etc on what any of you might have done in the past. do the bag scan folks actually open the bags to check the box? what would they need to test/check to make sure the helmet ‘passed’ their security inspection? do you carry any documentation ont he product and does that help? im scared that they will either confiscate or damage the helmet or just delay by holding my bags at the airport or smth. any tips anyone?
