well,my success story seems on hold…

Despite fighting hairloss for 15 years or so, I have a full head of hair and thanks to OMG’s Laser and IH’s supplements had it even thicker than ever by my 41st birthday, this year, save a tiny bit of thinning at the front of the parting.

but I need help… as really for about a year or so now I have had, off and on, white puss on my comb after I come out of the shower and comb my hair. And right now my hair seems way thinner than in mid June. It’s nuts - on June 16th I was thicker than ever and now it literally feels like half of it has gone, WTF.  Plus minituarization.

Same time period my White cell count has dropped from a healthy 5.0 to immune challenged 3.8. Yikes and I’ve lost 20 pounds in 9 months. One doctor diagnosed adrenal exhaustion. So no more flying to meet Immortal in LA!

So i am convinced scalp health is a key issue for me. As soon as I have any sugar my mouth goes furry (candida?) - as it was white puss when in Florida and now that I am in a colder environment north of the border, it is flaking white scalp skin (no puss) and redness in parts, plus a very itchy crown.

i have alwasy been chemically sensitive and my hair falls when around any chemicals but thsi feels different and my friends say I look underweight and even ‘fragile’. I feel burned out and pee a lot at night.

One good sign is that my # 2 toilet is now far more normal and healthy after 4 months eating at Whole foods. That is a significant improvement for me.

Anyways, does this sound like fungus related or psorriasis or dermatitis related to excess sebum. the micorscope does tend to show the latter - but the white puss or white cream on the ends of my comb?

One last clue - since using sea buckthorn oil (and some jojoba and an aloe based chemical free shampoo) the white stuff has reduced a lot and the flaking has cleared up a bit. THANKS KAREN!

Anyone else ever had white puss coming out of their scalp alternating with skin flakes and all associated with minituarization during the same time frame. In the past I have not appeared to have MPB type pattern loss and really thickened up using LLLt and IH supps,. but not recently and not with this scalp condition. Am also scared to use a lot of LLLT when high sebum is a distinct possibility.

So I’m back on my mountain to turn this all around. And have RIFE and infra red sauna to help too.

I particularly welcome comments on what this scalp puss and alternating scalp skin flaking in cooler temperatures is/ are.

Many thanks, M

A quick guess would be scalp acne which can be caused by fungus or bacteria.

Scalp Folliculitis Symptoms

The most distinguishing symptom or characteristic of scalp folliculitis is the appearance of small, itchy pustules or bumps on the scalp. Such bumps can be more frequently found along the front hairline. Sometimes, the pustules can be quite large in size, and may remain filled with yellow pus. Such large pus filled pustules can be quite painful, and they can rupture, releasing the pus on the surrounding skin.

The small pustules usually heal on their own without causing scarring. But, the large pus filled pustules can harden and sometimes, lead to scarring and hair loss. Folliculitis, in general can be superficial and deep. The superficial folliculitis manifest in small bumps or pustules. Deep folliculitis on the other hand, can cause infection of the entire follicle or deeper portion of it, which can eventually lead to inflammation and scarring of the affected area.

The reason I’m thinking this is that when I started LLLT and cleansing my scalp and what not, I noticed more acne on my scalp.  For me it wasn’t so bad and cleared up.

Thanks for that - I’m thinking fungus too. So yeah I don’t have bumps, just this weird white stuff on my comb in hot climates and white skin flakes in cooler climates. The scope shows no demodex.

not sure about seeing a doctor though, as the team joke goes - better off asking the cat - eh Nid & IH?

A low white blood cell count is not that unusual for people that are dieting or exercising a lot. Did the low WBC lab work come back after you’ve been eating super healthy? Because from my experience eating super healthy really means you are eating less calories….to your body it seems like dieting. Weight loss also explains your frquent urination problem. Have you had your blood sugar checked yet?

At any rate don’t abandon conventional medicine. Follow through with everything your doctor tells you for the time being to make sure it’s nothing serious. I don’t think it is but follow through with the conventional side anyway.
