[ # 1 ] September 14, 2011, 05:55 PM Great link. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but what is the status of avodart testing for hair loss? I read somewhere it was in phase II. Is this true? Because if it is this is something drug companies seem to love to do. They deamonize drugs that are now generic so they can sell you the new drug that costs 20 times more when it comes out. Vioxx comes to mind. Supposedly safer and easier on the stomach than the generic and over the counter Ibuprofen. But it turned out this was all lies. It wasn’t better. It wasn’t safer. It was just a lot more expensive. That one cost the taxpayers about a billion or two as it was usually paid for by medicare. I’d would not take either drug but i was just curious. |

[ # 3 ] September 14, 2011, 06:55 PM yep i’m sure that may be the motive, BUT anybody with an ounce of common sense would ask themselves “how is avodart, which is significantly more powerful be safe in comparison to propecia?” as well as “hmmmm..for years pro was touted as being safe blah blah blah, and now years later the so called Crazy People were right, it’ll be the same with this, only the consequences will be much more severe” |

[ # 4 ] September 14, 2011, 09:53 PM Interesting IH. In phase III in 2010. Yea they’re right on schedule. They’ve been letting the truth trickle out on fin just in time for the next new drug. I wonder what rationale they will come up with to claim Avodart is safer? Are the drug companies that stupid? Are they that brazen? We shall see. |

[ # 5 ] September 15, 2011, 10:26 PM Interesting…..I thought they were discontinuing it as a treatment for hairloss….. Incredible…with all the information on these drugs now….they are still moving forward. |
