Hi guys,

Just a quick question: How do you know when a diode is broken? Does it stop lighting? Does it become too hot when using it?

Thanks in advance for your answers !

Hi laurenzo,

If the diode in question is dim when in use or getting rather warm/hot then its no good and should be removed and replaced sooner than later!
theres quite a few posts on previous threads about the “demon diodes” as they been called in the past, and its really easy it just looks scarey. if i remember correctly i explained how to remove and replace a diode before so just look at my old posts, its in there somewhere!

Goodluck
