Could anyone tell me if I am wasting my time applying minoxidil foam to my receding hairline and temples? I know it is meant to treat the crown, but I have also heard it work for the front areas?

Cheers

Hi KMD. No it is not necessarily a waste of time to apply minoxidil to your hair line. It can help but the only problem is that growing hair there is always harder than at the crown. There are some things you can do to increase the probability of success too. You could apply it more than twice per day. You could make sure you use a shampoo with ketoconazole in it. You could also add a product I sell into your minoxidil called Hair Muck. It contains natural extracts that reduce 5AR and DHT.

Applying minox more often will increase the possibility of increasing side effects however.

Hope this is of some help. Best of luck.

Thanks Zix.
I have hair muck which I used in the lotion but it’s not suitable for foam.
