Here is my experience with Zix….

I’ve been a Zix fan for a long time, and I can say that I think it’s probably the only thing that actually gave me POSITIVE results before my laser helmet.  I used the original Zix for about a year in 2005 or so -AFTER I quit the massive “kitchen sink” approach that I was using that didn’t work (and after going on and off propecia and minox for seven or eight years before that)- and towards the end of that year, I was seeing marked improvements.  However, I quit all treatments for I think most of 2006, maybe getting back involved at the end of the year.

I tried a few other things with disastrous results, and finally tried SuperZix II in the summer of 2007.  The positive effect was literally noticeable in only about three or so months.  Of course, it was too late to ever prevent needing another hair transplant (it had been about five years at that point of aggressive loss behind my first transplant with pretty much only that brief period of success with Zix the first time, and I needed another transplant by year TWO!  This was very aggressive temple recession!).

So, I had a moment -of course- where I smacked myself in the head and said “Why the hell didn’t I keep using this since 2005?!”  I wish I had found it the day it came out because literally I don’t think anything else up to that point worked for me.

One thing I experience with Zix -and I’ve heard it from others as well, although I know that it’s certainly not everyone that gets this- is that my shedding RADICALLY REDUCES.  It halts dead in it’s tracks.  I don’t have any clue why this is, but it’s something that I notice right off the bat.  This is such a “breath of fresh air” compared to other topicals out there that seem to induce a negative chemical shed.

So that’s my personal story, and I know that there are many others that have had the same experience.  I’m at the point with my laser helmet now where I have the luxury of maybe occasionally rotating another topical in to try, but Zix probably won’t ever be out of the mix for long!

In the world…

I can’t disclose names here because this is information that I’m not really supposed to know, but I know for a fact that some leading hair loss researchers have been experimenting with what they feel to be a very effective treatment -and that the formula of it resembles SuperZix II very much.  Maybe they will release it as a product -however MAYBE THEY WON’T because the formula is online for free!

Conspiracy time…

What is really “odd” is that I’ve posted about my positive experience with Zix in several different forums over the years.  Those threads always seem to “go away”.  This crap was done with my laser therapy findings, too -that is until all of a sudden a bunch of negative posters started popping up that were giving wrong facts, etc.  Zix and Laser Helmets share something in common that for some reason, only threads with negative tones remain, and the hard-hitting threads with lots of science and positive results dissapear into thin air.

I realize I may sound nuts to some of you that haven’t had these experiences or seen it happen first hand, but please do yourself a favor and read my “The Truth about Hair Loss Forums and the Hair Loss Industry”, make sure you are aware of all of this, and rest assured that we’re not playing that game here.

What I would like to see…

Joe… you’ve said that you can mix a topical bayberry into the mix -which not only has been shown to eliminate 90% of DHT, it would eliminate some of the oils in the mixture, too.  If you add this, I think that this topical would be all anyone would ever need to block DHT.

So, in summary, I think that everyone that has had a similar back-story to me should consider trying this.  The best part about it is that it’s so damn cheap!  My month-to-month regimen costs are astronomically low with the paid-for laser helmet and a six months to a year supply of zix left!  That gives me money in the budget to play around with other things, too.
