World’s largest toxic experiment

When fluoride was first added to our municiple water water supplies, it was believed that ingestion was required to reap the benefits of this internationally recognized neurotoxin.  A half-century later, research has proven without reservation that there is no place for fluoride fortification.

Fluoride creates toxic effects on virtually every inch of body tissue by inhibiting enzyme function and perturbing immune response recognition, which means autoimmune dysfunction is increased.

I realize that most reading this already understand the dangers of fluoride, but what is startling is that fluoride toxicity is strongly associated with lead toxicity.  Lead toxicity in even small amounts creates hormone dysfunction, low testosterone, cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

The body is not able on its own to remove all of this fluroide, so adding iodine to your diet will help increase its excretion.  If you’re currently using fluoride toothpastes, all the evidence shows no difference in tooth decay between fluoridated cities and non-users, except with fewer cases of dental fluorosis.  Most readers are probably aware of fluorides connection with thyroid suppression, yet aluminum uses fluoride as a transport into the brain.  It’s no wonder there is so much aluminum in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.

Most water filtration systems do not remove fluoride, which means we will still inhale some of it while taking a shower.  That is unless you filter it from the main line with a reverse osmosis filter system.

There is some concern about the fluoride content in black and green tea.  Fortunately, there are fluoride free products available to make the teas.  If you take green tea supplements, there is no worry if the Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) content is high.  Epigallocatechin Gallate, is virtually devoid of fluoride.

Brian,

I’m real glad that you wrote a blog on this subject.  While many folks have an idea that fluoride may be bad for them, they brush it off and don’t realize just how significant of hazard it is to our health!!  Reverse Osmosis seems to be the only way to go.

On that note, I think Humifulvate would work well to chelate current Fluoride in your body as well, wouldn’t it?

Dan,

Good question, humifulvate is an excellent supplement, and is something to strongly consider if mercury filings or other materials are used, however, since fluoride is a halogen, it requires iodine for proper removal. More information below.

Iodine supplementation markedly increases urinary excretion of fluoride and bromide - Letters to the Editor

The last national nutritional survey revealed that 15% of the US adult female population are iodine-deficient by the WHO standard, that is less than 0.05 mg/L urine. (16) Over the last 20 years, iodine was replaced with bromine in the bread making process.

Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, May, 2003

The last national nutritional survey revealed that 15% of the US adult female population are iodine-deficient by the WHO standard, that is less than 0.05 mg/L urine. (16) Over the last 20 years, iodine was replaced with bromine in the bread making process. (13) The risk ratio for breast cancer 40 years ago was one in twenty and now one in eight. (17) It is of interest to note that breast tissue contains lactoperoxydase which is capable of oxydation and organification of iodide and bromide. The breast needs iodine for normal function and protection against breast cancer. (13) High bromide levels in breast tissue would compete with iodine, interfering with the cancer-protecting role of iodine in the breast.

The RDA for iodine is based on the amount of iodine/iodide needed to prevent goiter, cretinism and hypothyroidism. The optimal requirement of the whole human body for iodine has never been studied. Based on a review of published data, we previously proposed that an amount of iodine 100 times the RDA would be required for iodine sufficient of the whole human body. (13) This amount is equivalent to 2 drops of Lugol solution. We are pursuing further research on the use of the orthoiodo supplementation as a means of detoxification of fluoride and bromide; and for prevention and control of fibrocystic disease of the breast and breast cancer.

Reprint of the manuscripts describing the orthoiodo-supplementation, the iodine/iodide loading test and the technique for measuring urinary halide levels are available at no charge, upon request.

Brian that was a great little article. Short and sweet. Why in the hell is this stuff still in our drinking water? I never even considered the ramifications of breathing it in as well when taking a shower.

F*** fluoride! Can you recommend some good products to keep this out of our drinking water and shower water? I was looking at Mercola’s but like all his products they are overpriced! And is there anything for drinking water besides reverse osmosis?

And I read from Nid that it calcifies the gland in the brain that produces melatonin and serotonin!!!! WHAT THE HELL! Is that true????

1….. - Fluoride filtration systems are not cheap, and there are none made for showers (only other minerals), so the only option is to use reverse osmosis from the main line.

Upon autopsy, it is quite common to see calcification of the pineal gland. There is good reason to believe that fluoride plays at least a contributing role in this, and would suggest, taking iodine to help rid your body of it.

Thanks IH,
I am already taking iodine. Today I took 20 drops of lugols 2% and I felt really good.  Are there any filtration systems for just drinking water?

Thanks a lot for the great reply on Iodine!

Regarding the calcification of the pineal gland…is there a way to reverse this process?

nidhogge,

Iodine supplementation appears to hold the most promise IME but appears to require very large doses ... probably due to the weight of flouride.  IME, 1 gram of Iodide seems to get the job done.  Add boron would be even better.

Also, interestingly, based on frequency generators/rife machines, Iodine is said to resonate near the same frequency as the pineal gland and thyroid.

Here is some interesting info regarding the weight of halogens which shows that large amounts of Iodine/Iodide is needed to displace flouride.

———————————————————————————————————

“Iodine IN SUFFICIENT DOSES will displace undesirable halogens…

J.C. Jarvis, M.D. (Folk Medicine, Henry Holt & Co., 1958, HB, p. 136), wrote:

“The clinical activity of any one of these four halogens is in inverse proportion to its atomic weight. This means that any one of the four can displace the element with a higher atomic weight, but cannot displace an element with a lower atomic weight. For example, flourine can displace chlorine, bromine and Iodine because flourine has a lower atomic weight than the other three. Similarly, chlorine can displace bromine and iodine because they both have a higher atomic weight. Likewise, bromine can displace iodine from the body because iodine has a higher atomic weight. But a reverse order is not possible. A knowledge of this well-known chemical law brings us to a consideration of the addition of chlorine to our drinking water as a purifying agent. We secure a drinking water that is harmful to the body not because of its harmful germ content but because the chlorine content now causes the body to lose the much-needed iodine…”

BTW, Jarvis was wrong on a key point. A reverse order IS possible…iodine, in sufficient doses WILL elevate the excretion of bromide, for instance. voila! brown pee”

On top of iodine don’t forget the synergistic effect of vitamins A, D3 and K2’s role in helping to decalcify the pineal gland.

Silverlin - Good point, and FWIW, someone pointed out in my natural regrowth forum about how high-dose Vitamin K2 might be helping in getting to bed earlier.

This has also been the case with myself too.  Since taking about 3 to 5 milligrams instead of what I was taking before (45 mcg to 90 mcg per day), I’ve been getting to bed a lot earlier.

Could this be an indication that the pineal gland is secreting more melatonin than before?  Maybe so.

Curcumin supplementation protects from genotoxic effects of arsenic and fluoride.
Tiwari H, Rao MV.

Zoology Department, University School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, India. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Abstract
The present study was aimed to evaluate curcumin as a potential natural antioxidant to mitigate the genotoxic effects of arsenic (As) and fluoride (F) in human peripheral blood lymphocytes. The study was divided into nine groups consisting of negative control, positive control treated with ethyl methane sulphonate (EMS; 1.93 mM) and curcumin control with only curcumin (1.7 microM) in blood culture. As (1.4 microM) and F (34 microM) were added alone as well as in combination, to the cultures, with and without curcumin. Cultures were analysed for chromosomal aberrations (both structural and numerical) and primary DNA damage via comet assay as the genotoxic parameters after an exposure duration of 24h. Results revealed that curcumin efficiently ameliorates the toxic effect of As and F by reducing the frequency of structural aberrations (>60%), hypoploidy (>50%) and primary DNA damage. In conclusion, curcumin mitigates the genotoxic effects of the two well known water contaminants (As and F) effectively and efficiently at the given concentration in vitro.
