As more and more consumers are seeking to sweeten their foods using alternatives to sugar, the use of artificial substitutes can create more harm than good. Splenda, a trade marked name for sucralose, is an artificial sweetener “made from sugar, “that uses a chlorine molecule instead of a hydrogen molecule. This reconfiguration is nothing like sugar!
